Wes’s Buffalo Champion Fries
A buddy of mine started writing for Boise Vegan and this was his first post. Leftover spaghetti and potatoes, fried in BBQ sauce, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper, and sriracha (I had to add a squirt or two in). My mouth has been watering since I first read it, and it certainly delivered. Not healthy by any means, but whatever. It’s good.
The sauce I used last night was home made, save for a can of crushed tomatoes. First time I’ve ever done more than add veggies to a pre-made jar/can.
Forgive the tupperware. I figure there’s no way I’m finishing this tonight, so why not save a dish?
Made a last minute trip to Seattle to see some of Dawn’s family over the weekend, and I coaxed Dawn into stopping at wayward on the drive home. I skipped breakfast so I could handle a seitan philly cheesesteak, fries, BBQ fried tofu, grits, greens, and fried biscuits. Wish I had ordered a second sandwich to take home.
Quinoa hand-rolls with teriyaki veggies. I’m definitely making hand rolls more, or maybe even exclusively. So much less effort, possibly even more delicious.
